The Registered not for profit charity called “Heart to Hand” was set up in 1991 to provide food to homeless shelters, soup kitchens, homes for the elderly, people with disabilities , resource centres, homes for distressed women and families, alcohol awareness centres, drug rehabilitation centres, youth centres & many more deserving organisations around Ireland.
“Without the help and generosity of the Irish people we could not survive”. We:Provide food, clothes, beds & basic hygiene supplies to the remaining orphanages in Eastern Europe.
Provide wheelchairs & walking aids to disabled adults and children. Provide adult and children’s nappies to the orphanages and elderly homes. Build houses for long term homeless families in Albania. Build churches/community centres/schools for communities that have no facilities since the end of the communist era in the 90’s in Albania. Upgrading of orphanages, new roofs, electrics, painting, tiling, etc. Upgrading of dilapidated houses, mainly new roofs, windows and doors. Provide Christmas gift boxes to the orphanages and disadvantaged schools. Provide toys, bicycles, books, cots, prams etc. to the orphanages and villages in very poor areas of northern Albania. Send approximately 12 articulated Lorries of Humanitarian Aid to the poorest of the poor in Albania and surrounding countries where the need arises. Send approximately 50 volunteers out to Albania to carry out essential construction projects each year, assess areas of need and provide education and training facilities to help people help themselves Latest News |

All money raised goes directly to the charity to help feed the poor and complete our construction works.
